Firmware Updates & HARDWIRE-OS
HARDWIRE receives ongoing firmware updates through the Soundscape app. Updates may include:
- Audio performance improvements
- Device compatibility enhancements
- New features and controls
- Stability improvements
- Bug fixes
- Future platform functionality
To check for updates:
- Open the Soundscape app.
- Connect HARDWIRE.
- Select Firmware Update.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.

Level 11 Mode
What is Level 11?
Level 11 is HARDWIRE's maximum-power amplifier mode available through the Soundscape app. It unlocks additional amplifier headroom for louder output, stronger bass response, and improved gaming performance on devices with volume limitations.
Who can access Level 11?
Level 11 is available on compatible HARDWIRE devices running the latest supported firmware. Additional eligibility requirements may apply.
Is Level 11 safe?
Level 11 can produce significantly higher output levels than standard mode. Always start at a low volume and increase gradually. Extended exposure to high listening levels may cause hearing damage.
Does Level 11 change sound quality?
Level 11 does not change the driver, EQ, or tuning. It changes amplifier behavior by providing additional output headroom.
Can I turn Level 11 off?
Yes. Level 11 can be disabled through the Soundscape app at any time.
If Soundscape isn’t finding HARDWIRE
- Confirm Soundscape is updated
- Confirm your phone’s Bluetooth is ON (can be required for discovery/handshake)
- Unplug HARDWIRE → plug back in
