Firmware updates keep HARDWIRE improving (features, stability, future controls).
Update rules (very important)
- Pause whatever is playing first. Do not play anything during the update.
- Do not close Soundscape during the update.
- Keep HARDWIRE plugged in during the update and through the reboot period.
Typical update time: under 5 minutes
If an update fails:
- Keep it plugged in → reopen Soundscape → retry
- If needed: unplug/replug and re-detect
Reboot is required after firmware update. Keep HARDWIRE plugged in during the 60s reboot period. The Audio Cortex will flash white at some point during the reboot to indicate success.
